The List: Volume 3

I am obsessing over another drug store lip product lately. I love a good drug store lippie because if its a good product you can buy it in all your favorite shades! I have been wearing the Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Stick almost everyday. It comes in over 10 shades and it is less than 10 dollars. It goes on sooo smooth. It feels just like a chapstick and it is actually really moisturizing. If I am getting real fancy I will even top it with Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Shine in a coordinating shade. I like this lip gloss, again because it comes in so many shades and is so cheap, but also because it isn’t sticky. This is really important to me in a lip gloss.

I finally made it to The Bancroft steakhouse in Burlington, Mass. I love a good steak and everyone was telling me this was place to go. First off, the atmosphere is amazing. I love the urban chic decor. It is very dark and sultry inside. The cocktails are house originals and so tasty. The steak definitely lived up to everyone’s word. Even the presentation was top notch.

I just finished binging Breaking Bad. I’m only a decade behind on television apparently. It was so good! A meek mild mannered high school teacher turned drug lord? How did I not give this a chance earlier??? I was so impressed with the ending too. A lot of times a great TV program is ruined by a bad ending but they nailed this. Tied up all loose ends in a plausible and satisfying way.

Whenever my husband works nights, I like to cook something quick and easy for dinner. I like Wegman’s because they have so many prepared foods I can just pop in the oven without any prep work. Lately, I can’t stop buying the lobster mac n’ cheese from Wegman’s! They have a small and a large size. I always get the small size for just me. It has huge hunks of lobster in it and its only $12! I usually get two servings out of it too.

If you aren’t getting The Skimm in your e-mail every morning then you aren’t doing it right. This has been my go to daily read for years now. It is a quick, easy way to catch up on the big headlines of the day. You can literally skim it to see what’s going on. It is great for someone like me who is on the go and doesn’t have time to read the whole Boston Globe everyday.
