It is the beginning of a new month which means it is time to talk books! I recently read The Magnolia Story by Chip and Joanna Gaines.
We all love and admire the Chip and Joanna we see on Fixer Upper on HGTV. I know I personally have binge watched an unimaginable amount of Fixer Upper. It is shocking I don’t have bed sores. But I had no idea who they really were or about their back story. How did they become this powerhouse couple who can turn a rotted dump into a beautiful house that makes us city folk want to move to the wilds of Texas?! Not to mention with 4 perfect well behaved little children in tow. I won’t give anything away but how they met and came to be the Chip and Joanna we know today is so cute and unexpected. This is a light easy read that you will breeze right through. But it is still entertaining and engaging. I like to read a book like this after a heavier book (we all know I love a good crime novel!). It just helps balance you out!
Fate would have it that this duo’s much anticipated Target collaboration Hearth and Hand debuted yesterday! The items range from 99 cents to $129.00, but most items are below $50. There is something for everyone’s price point. Find some of my favorites below!
Wreath / Glass Jug / Pouf / Pillow / Candle / Family PJs / Plate
There is so many other cute items as well. Can you tell I’m totally crushing on green this season? Especially in plaid! What are you guys loving on from this collection? Let me know in the comments below!
