So Spring (or should I say Summer?) has finally decided to show up in Boston. It is about damn time!
It is going to be in the 90’s this weekend aka shorts weather. I’ll be rocking this outfit this weekend to stay cool.
This cut out front tank top is from Target and still available (and comes in black and toffee! – $12.99). It is butter soft. The color looks different in person than it does on the photo provided on Target’s website.
Express has a similar but more sophisticated cut out front tank ($29.90). You could wear this one with shorts or dress it up for nights out.
This one from Nordstrom is another great every day style. It doesn’t come in blue but comes in classic black and a funky yellow which I love ($29).
The shorts pictured in the flat lay above are floral denim. I got those in a Stitch Fix box. Apparently, floral denim is impossible to find now. These ones pictured here from Juicy Couture were basically the only comparable I could find ($73.99). If any of you see any others for sale, send the link my way! However, the below floral non-denim shorts are all available as well and super cute and lightweight for summer!
These lightweight floral print high waisted shorts are adorable and I love the colors ($23)!
These gauzy lightweight elastic band waisted shorts from American Eagle are also a great casual weekend option ($22.46).
These are the sandals from my flat lay ($44.99). They are Lauren Conrad from Kohls. They only seem to have a Size 10 right now on the website but I would keep checking back as they may stock more. Or check in store! They are wicked comfortable and worth keeping your eye on.
Kohls also carry these Lauren Conrad sandals which are an awesome option if you plan on being on your feet a lot ($34.99). The lower height and wedge style gives it more walkability.
If you are more of a simple gal, these Kelly & Katie wedges from DSW are a perfect neutral shoe option to go with a casual shorts and tank outfit like above but can also be dressed up ($39.95).
As many of you know, I wear prescription glasses. The selection of frames that can work with prescription lenses is fairly limited to pick from. These slight cat eye Michael Kors are my exact frames above but in a tortoise (and without prescription lenses – $121.15). I have black but apparently they aren’t available in non-prescription form. They are very Jackie O. I love them and have gotten a ton of compliments since getting them.
These Quay cat eye sunglasses from Zappos are a similar, and cheaper, style ($45).
These Le Spec’s from ShopBop are also similar and not a bad price for good quality frames in a timeless shape ($59).
For a casual outfit like this I like to just rock a thin bangle or two. This is a pretty close comparison to the one above ($13).
Simple gold earrings are also the perfect topper to a casual outfit. I always like to have a set of geometric shaped studs on hand to go with different outfits ($19).
What are you guys up to this weekend? What will you be rocking while doing it?
