Today was one of those days were I went to the gym for an hour and then came home and made taquitos for lunch. Oh well, you win some you lose some.
But let’s talk about what’s on everyone’s minds right now – Thanksgiving! Or more like what to drink on Thanksgiving! Well I know what I will be drinking on Turkey Day morning while I am preparing my famous speciality appetizer. The Fallmosa! If you couldn’t guess by the name it is a fall flavored mimosa. So pop the bubbly and check out the recipe below!
Fallmosa
Ingredients
- Champagne
- Hard Cider (brand of your choice but I recommend Downeast!)
- Regular Apple Cider
Instructions
- Grab a glass and pour in the champagne. I usually fill up the glass somewhere between about 1/2 to 3/4 full but it is really personal preference.
- Pour in hard cider. Fill up about 1/2 of the space left in the glass.
- Pour in a heavy splash of regular apple cider.
The best part about this recipe is that the portions of the ingredients is all based off personal preference. If you love champagne, use more champagne. If you love cider, use more hard cider.
If you are trying to get super fancy then float a slice of apple in the glass and throw a stick of cinnamon in there or before making the drink dip the rim of the glass in a shallow plate of water and then in some cinnamon sugar. Boom you have a delish drink and you look super bougie drinking it.
If champagne isn’t really your thing (or maybe you need something a little stronger), check out another one of my fav fall flavored drink recipes: Apple Cider Bourbon.
